Spring - Ski
Did you know that you can ski in Nozawa Onsen until Golden Week and the first week of Mai? Come and enjoy a spring slide in Nozawa Onsen or explore some of the nearby mountains on empty slopes including Shigakogen, Madarao, Myoko or one of our kids favourites Togakushi ski resort. Skiing with kids is amazing in Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort. Especially during the warmer spring month its easy to take the kids for a few runs and take a break at one of the many mountain restaurants.
Naski kids park
A safe but exciting kids play area, with everything the little ones need. Here you will find jumping castles, Magic carpets for first time skiers and boarders and access to the kids-only sled and tubing courses.
The kids park is easily accessible from the village via the “Yu Road” or the “Naski” snow-mobile shuttle from the Nagasaka area.
Open from Mid December to the end of March.

Nozawa SpArena
SPARENA is located between the Nagasaka and Karasawa ski areas on the edge of the Nozawa onsen ski resort. SPARENA is a large hot spring facility equipped with indoor public baths, an open air hot-spring bath, warm bathing pool, saunas and restaurant.
(Indoor baths are segregated, no swimwear. Outside pools are unisex and require swimwear).
There is also a relax room equipped with reclining chairs and a ski accessory outlet. A perfect stop for day trippers who arrive early to the resort.
Restaurant Chantel, offers a wide range of menu items, including handmade pizzas, pasta, soba, udon, tempura, steak and more.
